The Colorado University Hospital required an urgent upgrade to the HEPA filters in a critical care wing and a lab area. The challenge was to establish a construction schedule that accommodated the occupancy requirements given the patient load. Summit worked with the Colorado University Hospital facility manager and clinicians to project the occupancy requirements, and establish a schedule that allowed adequate time between construction completion and patient occupancy. In addition, the lab exhaust system was completed in record time to allow for rapid return to use.
